“Draftsmen’s Congress“
The “Draftsmen’s Congress“ is a participatory project
of the 7th Berlin Biennale, which takes its inspiration from the fact
that the mediation of knowledge and information of the present is
strongly influenced by images. Based on this understanding, the Congress
deals with to investigate the medium of drawing and invited, among
others to express themselves on the whole interior of the church, which
will be covered with paper and hence in order to become a big canvas.

Prinzessinnengarten
Since the summer of 2009 it has devoloped on a 6000-squaremeter vacant lot in close cooperation with the Prinzessinnengarten’s neighbors. On the transportable gardening plots organic vegetables, salads and herbs are grown, and there are workshops about beekeeping and urban farming. Prinzessinnengarten also hosts a little restaurant that offers delicious cakes and a different dish every day, using locally grown products, many of them from the garden.

JACQUELINE KENNEDY ONASSIS
The works shown in the exhibition were made using industrially produced materials. A series of sculptures, referred to as “Romantische Skulpturen”, consists of grand steel profile frames measuring nearly three by three meters, upon which precisely crafted layers of coated wood and other materials have been attached. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis biography functions as the recurring theme that connects the dots in the exhibition.
